I had to think about this problem from the perspective of statistics. I needed to spread the risk of loss from one game to many games. At first, the only robot I had designed was playing roulette. Then I created a second robot to play blackjack. Both robots watch for variance in the games. The entire strategy can be run in 15 to 30 minutes.
If this sounds like not a lot of money, consider that it only takes 30 minutes to do it. Then you need to consider that you will be making $1,000 per week. You can take the weekend off and drink some beer. Now consider that this strategy will add up to $50,000 per year (even with the two weeks you decided not to play). That is a fantastic way to pay your bills for only a 30 minute investment in your time.
